I spent the day after Christmas with some family and we decided that it would be great family bonding time to do a face mask together. (I never said my family was normal! :D)
My dad’s fiancé Heather received the Elizavecca Milky Piggy- Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask for Christmas and we wanted to try it out. I always heard great things about charcoal products and bubble masks, so I was super excited.
We went into the bathroom and each took this spatula looking tool to put the product on our faces.
After a few moments, it started to fizz and bubble. Oh my goodness, my face was so itchy! I had to keep scrunching it so I wouldn’t mess up the mask with my fingers. You’re supposed to leave it on for 3-5 minutes. It may have been a bit longer than that, due to all the crazy selfies we were taking… Whoops!
After that time, you’re supposed to massage it into your face.
Then I proceeded to wash it off with a washcloth… maybe I should’ve just rinsed it off like it says to? My skin felt very soft afterwards and looked smooth, but Heather noticed that my face was pretty red after using this product, while the rest of the family’s faces were fine. It didn’t hurt or anything, but I saw that it was red. Perhaps my skin is sensitive to one of the ingredients in this product? Who knows?
The redness did go away after a couple of minutes, which was good.
Overall, I liked this product! The bubbling sensation felt nice, despite making my face feel itchy. I think it brightened my face up a bit and it was fun to use. I would definitely try it again to see if it improves my skin over a long period of time.
I would recommend trying this product out, especially for the cheaper price. Please note that you do have to look up the directions online since they are in Korean on the package.
Check it out on Amazon!
